Advisor No.2 / Legal Division

Advisor No. 2 is notably responsible for inspecting the services, Units and subsidiaries of the SNH. He coordinates and monitors legal and litigation files, carries out studies on the functioning of the SNH with a view to streamlining administrative work, as well as prospective studies on the diversification of the SNH’s activities. He coordinates and monitors the securing of oil installations, as well as oil and gas projects, including joint venture projects and the construction of oil and gas infrastructure.

The missions of JUR are among others, to ensure compliance with laws in the conduct of business within SNH. It gives legal opinion on all important matters referred to it, studies and draws up draft legal and regulatory texts, prepares files in defence of the Corporation in court. Moreover, it negotiates, draws up and manages all corporate insurance contracts, as well as any other contracts between SNH and third parties.
